Prior to joining Smith, Rolfes & Skavdahl, Matthew worked several years as a claims adjuster for a large national corporation investigating a broad range of claims. In his final year of law school, he joined an insurance defense firm working as a law clerk. This prior experience affords Matthew a unique ability to investigate, evaluate and litigate claims in a timely and effective manner.
