James Birch is an Associate with the firm’s Cincinnati office. Previously, James practiced for eight years handling general civil litigation matters at the trial and appellate levels in Florida and Ohio. With a focus on insurance defense litigation, James’ practice includes property and casualty defense and claims investigation. James served as an adjunct professor teaching business law at Colorado Technical University for over ten years.

James earned his Bachelor of Science degree in legal studies from Nova Southeastern University in 1999 and earned his Juris Doctor from NSU Shepard Broad College of Law in 2002. He is a member of the Ohio Bar and the Cincinnati Bar Association. James lives in Cincinnati with his wife and six children.
