Richard Vitale has 20 years experience in civil litigation and administrative law and is a skilled defense litigator and a successful negotiator. His track record includes appellate litigation in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and in the Supreme Court of Kentucky.

Mr. Vitale successfully defended toxic tort product liability cases in multi-district litigation in sixteen states. Well known as a vigorous defense litigator in the workers' compensation arena, he is an advocate upon whom clients come to rely for advice and representation. He has also rendered more than 1,500 decisions for the Social Security Administration as a disability adjudicator.

Dedication to his practice is demonstrated in part by Mr. Vitale's receipt of the 2013 Commissioner's Meritorious Service Award from the Kentucky Cabinet for Health & Family Services. He was a Managing Editor for The Brandeis Brief at the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law and an Associate Editor for the Urban Action public policy journal at San Francisco State University. He also gained valuable experience as a Judicial Intern for Chief Judge Thomas K. Knopf in the Thirtieth Judicial Circuit for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
