M. Andrew Sway, Partner
Andy Sway joined the law firm of Smith, Rolfes & Skavdahl Co., L.P.A. in 1996 after a clerkship at the Hamilton County Common Pleas Court with the Honorable Richard A. Bernat and following graduation from the William and Mary Law School.  Initially, his practice focused primarily on subrogation recovery.  In 1999, Andy moved to Columbus, Ohio to open and manage the day to day operations pf the law firm’s Columbus office.  Since accepting a partnership with the law firm in 2001, his practice ranges from personal injury and construction defect, first and third-party defense cases to subrogation recovery in the same areas.  Admitted to practice in Ohio, the United States District Court of Ohio, Northern and Southern Divisions, the Sixth District Appellate Court and the United States Bankruptcy Court.  Andy is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus and Cincinnati Bar Associations, the Columbus Claims Association and the National Association of Subrogation Professionals.  Andy is also a member of the Buckeye Club, the Columbus Zoo and participates in raising money for the Alan Bunkzin Bone Marrow Drive at William and Mary.  Andy lives in Dublin, Ohio with his wife, daughter and son.
