Carmen C.Sarge, Associate
Carmen Sarge is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Kentucky. He graduated from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1999.  While in law school, he received the Corpus Juris Secundum Award and Cali Excellence for the Future Award for obtaining the highest grade in contracts.  In addition, he received recognition for achieving the highest grade in professional responsibility.  Carmen worked as a volunteer law clerk with the Ohio Attorney General, consumer protection section, in Cincinnati in 1996.  In the summer of 1997, he completed a clerkship with Judge Daniel T. Guidugli at the Kentucky Court of Appeals, Sixth Appellate District.

Prior to law school, Carmen worked for three years as a communications manager at Diversey Corporation and one year as a project manager at a legal staffing firm in Cincinnati.  He joined Smith, Rolfes & Skavdahl as a law clerk in 1997.  He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association, Northern Kentucky Bar Association, Northern Kentucky University economics advisory board and National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators.  Carmen is president of the Cincinnati Claims Association.  He was also recently recognized as a Rising Star in the practice areas of insurance coverage in the 2007 listing of Ohio Super Lawyers.
